PETITE ROBERTE
Extremely delicate and beautiful songs at a whisper. Silence is
golden, this is just a tiny fraction away from that. The full Roberte
features Nick Melia and members of Horses Brawl.
POSTALOWA
Norwich mid-fi wonders PostaLowa, named a pair of Stereolab's
tour buses, have at their core artist Mark Jennings and technician
James Butcher. Their second album 'Too See It' (Metal Queen Projects)
was recorded at the Sick Room in West Norfolk by Owen Turner (Magoo)
and ranges from Pavement-style alt.rock through soaring guitar/303/cello
fusion to glimmering electronica with fragile vocals. It's quite
unlike anything you've heard before - but in a nice way - and it
all makes perfect sense. Chilled pop gem 'Why So Grrr' was taken
from the album and released by Mummy Where's The Milkman Records.
"pretty, slow-motion post-rock"
Brain Love
"one of those bands who are seeking for more
original sounds rather than finding the coolest outfit for being
seen as the next big thing" Disco Bar

THE REBECCAS
The Rebeccas are Christa Harris and whoever she can lay her hands
on for her lo-fi songs.
ASHLEY SMITH
Ashley Smith is a quirky a singer/musician. Laugh with him and
you understand the falsetto voices over 80s keyboards, why he's
playing saucepans and bottles, and why he's covering a Hare Krishna
songs. It's the style that made us commision him to write our 2004
corporate anthem.
MOCHIKOLINSKI
Toko Sanger (Hyperkinako) and Shane O'Linski. Experimental meets
Japanese = a song about trading on eBay.
