The Broken Family BandTHE BROKEN FAMILY BAND

With it's dark, brooding and joyous slabs of Americana, the Broken Family Band's new album 'Welcome Home, Loser' is being declared as a masterpiece by all and sundry. Favourites of the broadsheets and Mark Radcliffe. And us.

Don's Mobile BarbersDON'S MOBILE BARBERS:

Think lo-fi electro crossed with Beach Boys vocals and drum machines. Think Grandaddy.

STUFFY/THE FUSES:

Stuffy/The Fuses gave us Metal Queen Theme 2005 - which you'll be able to download soon (remind us is we forget!) - and that is a fine example of the catchy indie-pop that has them sweeping the nation. Almost. But they have had a session for Rob Da Bank's show.

When Stuffy isn't with The Fuses, you can often spot him as drummer with Graham Coxon's band.
