Radioactive Man

Keith Tenniswood began his musical career, aged nine, when his father thrust a guitar in his hand. Destiny also took charge when he met up with Andrew Weatherall and The Sabres Of Paradise at night-clubs like 'The Drum Club', 'Full Circle' and 'Sabresonic' and began working with Weatherall manipulating sound on the Sabres tour.

Having been an integral part in the Weatherall studio set up since, it seemed a natural step that upon the demise of Sabres, Weatherall and Tenniswood should arise from the debris and form their own production team, the Two Lone Swordsmen. In 1996 they released their first album together as the Swordsmen, entitled 'The Fifth Mission-Return To The Flightpath Estate' on Weatherall’s own Emissions imprint. They have since recorded for Warp Records.

Outside of the Two Lone Swordsmen, Tenniswood leant his talents to David Holmes 'Lets Get Killed' album and has also worked with The Aloof and Red Snapper.

He released his debut album also titled “Radioactive Man” on Weatherall's new label, Rotters Golf Club, in September 2001. The album received many plaudits (amongst them, “One of the UK’s most underrated DJ/producers”) and established him as a producer in his own right, disassociating him from the 2 Lone Swordsman moniker he previously carried.

After having been ensconced in the studio with Weatherall for the last nine months, working on new tracks, smoking spliff and then thinking of titles, the result has been the eagerly anticipated follow up album “Booby Trap” released on May 2003. He successfully debuted live 2 years ago at Sonar Festival in Barcelona and has toured Europe twice with RGC Records.

Tenniswood fills his weekends by playing records in nightclubs. He can be found DJing in the UK and overseas most weekends, and still finds the time to work on his own label Control Tower which he set-up with The Dexorcist and Royston.

Synapse

"As one of the leading producers in his field, Synapse has been dominating dance floors for the last 12 months with his twisted bass lines and his electronic beats. But the skills of this producer stretch well beyond the bounds of originality and technical insight of most producers. His tracks are always musically rich, as well as being original.

"James Grant a.k.a Synapse lives the quiet village life of Norfolk but has recently returned from touring the Czech Republic with the infamous Base Logic crew to continue gigging in Norwich, Brighton, London and where ever dare have him and his laptop, or with his percussive skills as the drummer in the Evening Standard band. Beware of this formidable creature; he can take you to many places with his music. Some light, and some dark. All twisted!" - Pulse Rated

The Bells, The Bells

The Bells, The Bells! formed in the hazy late summer of 2004 in an attempt to fill big dark holes which existed in all their souls. Encouraged to perform live by local legend & promoter Shane O'Conner, instead of fiddling around in stoned & morbid introspection on 4 tracks in their bedrooms they started meeting up in dark rooms, trying to recreate home made recordings. Singing songs about love & regret & washing up & trust & fear & text messages & obsession & betrayal & kids tv from ten years ago & lust & anger & marine life. The band includes various members of Le Tetsuo, Teknikov and Maraud at absolutely no extra cost to the consumer. Our long-distance platonic love song 'The Washing Up' is now available as a 7" single with D&D themed 'Twelvesider' as a B side, buy it at www.howlbackhum.co.uk an album should be out in July with Rich Dinnis providing some (even) more jaw-dropping artwork....

The Captain

One man, one guitar and a pre-recorded backing track - but this is no karaoke. Not to be confused with Captain!

"All the songs have something unique about them while still staying in the same one-man band format, and this is something worthy of praise." - BBC Norfolk
